Traveling from South, stay on SH1 through the Mangamuka Gorge and turn left at the Takahue sign. If traveling from North, drive through Kaitaia on SH1 and turn right at the Takahue sign.

After turning into Takahue, travel about 8 kms on Takahue Road until you reach Takahue Community Hall. Turn left at the hall and travel about 2 kms on the metal road (Takahue Saddle Road) until you reach a fork. Turn right driving uphill to the gate with the sign “Krishna Sanctuary” and banana trees on either side.
